Playdate with the Beazers

This week we had a playdate with B, L, and C Beazer (Q is in Russia so we didn't get to see him). We're still crossing our fingers that Q can get a job in Utah in a year or two so we can see them more often. I really do miss racing them to church, sharing dinner together, chatting with B & Q, and watching L & C grow up a little every day.

It can't believe how much older L looked than last time and I was surprised that C was comfortable with Joe since he was so young when we lived there and it's been 6 months since we left.

We went to Liberty Park and then to the SL Library. If you haven't been to the library and you live in the area you need to check it out, especially the cool kids reading rooms and the view from the roof. L would have been content to read books at that library for hours (no surprise there) and C was nuts about the elevator. The park was fun too---if only they still had paddle boats on the pond in addition to the really awesome playground they have there.

I had a great time talking to B and seeing the kids and I know Joe did too. We can't wait to see you all again, next time you are in our neck of the woods--and hopefully accompanied by Q. [B, if you want a copy of some pictures and can't download them from the web here, let me know and I'll email them]

1 little remarks:

Thanks for such a fun play-date. L says she wants to see your house and that she likes you lots. Hope to see you again soon!
