Modest Dresses from Shabby Apple: Coupon Code: 15 % off

I am a girl. I am actually a girly girl. I like pretty dresses and don't mind wearing them at all. I actually think they are comfortable and flattering. But good modest dresses can be so hard to find--or at least used to be. There are so many options out there now that I can spend much less time browsing the mall and figuring out how to make a dress "work" (be modest).

Have you bought a dress for you, your friend, your daughter, or your mother from Shabby Apple lately? If not, now is a good time to buy because between now and June 30th you can get 15% off by using the coupon code ShabbyApple15off during checkout on the Shabby Apple website. Note, the coupon code can only be used once per customer.

To browse through their dresses click the box in the left sidebar.

One of the great things about the website is their Fit to Flatter section which can help you decide which styles would flatter your figure most. One of the hardest things about shopping online is that it's hard to know what looks good on YOU. I mean, certainly all these dresses look beautiful on the models, but you want to know which ones will make you look just nice and which ones will make you look amazing. Also, if you are worried about getting the size right and wasting money on shipping on a dress that just won't fit---note this: they provide free shipping for all size exchanges.

If I were to buy a dress today for me it would be either:

The Shabby Apple lovely Blue "Marseilles" faux wrap dress

or the Daisy white eyelet dress that just looks so springish and feminine.

And if I didn't already have a little black dress I would definitely pick one up from them. They have soo soo many options for modest little black dresses. In fact, though I already have a black dress that I love (mind you my mom had to sew a custom lining to go under it to make it modest) I am very tempted to buy another...like this modest Jackie O dress that is already marked down $10 and then I could use the coupon code on. So tempted.

And if I had a little girl I would have a VERY hard time choosing between the Hibiscus & Botanical dresses for her Easter/Birthday/just because outfit.

The major bonus of Shabby Apple dresses is that they are modest but still fashionable--you don't have to wear a camisole underneath that you will tug at all day to keep in place or wear a cardigan over your shoulders. My main problem with cardigans is that they can ruin the lines of the dress and tend to make me look boxy (what girl wants to look boxy!! seriously). I'd much rather wear one dress that is tailored to already be modest and beautiful. And now I want all three of those dresses above.

How bout you, which is your favorite?

THANK YOU FOR THE COUPON! I have become slightly obsessed with shabby apple lately, and spend much time thinking about which dress to buy and how to justify paying for it. Now, I have a great excuse! yay!!!!

There are so few I'm NOT in love with, I don't think I could ever choose one favorite...

If only the prices were like $40 to begin with, and THEN have a 15% off coupon! I'd get several...sigh...

Hey..
So, I've always been pretty good at figuring out how to use computer software - and that's how I've learned digital scrapbooking. BUT - if you decide to use Photoshop CS3 (what I use), I highly recommend a magazine called "The Ultimate Guide to Digital Scrapbooking" and it's sequel, "(same title) #2". I found them on Amazon for about 12 bucks each. Although, they are still fabulous if you choose to use any other program as well.

I would love to show you a trick or two. We should get together sometime.

Oh, and you can find TONS of freebies online. Some of my favorite sites are:
shabbyprincess.com
designerdigitals.com
littledreamerdesigns.com
scrapmatters.com

Anna,
Darling Dresses! Thanks for the offer. We would love the help. It will probably be June 30th or July 1st in the evening. Have you all found anything yet? I sure hope you can soon. It seems like such a long process but once you find "the house" it all seems to work out. Hopefully we will talk to you soon!

Diane
