Giveaway: Mikarose Modest Dresses (and other cute clothes)

The folks over at Mikarose were so nice as to email me and ask me to do a giveaway (um, yes, please. I particularly like giveaways that don't rely upon me making time for sewing). Plus they made me feel all special and popular by asking me to do it. Oh, and also, they have a good product. So I said yes.

Mikarose is another great company that specializes in creating fashionable modest clothing. And their prices are really reasonable. So get excited. If you'd like to win a $60 Gift Certificate for Mikarose.com please do the following:

Go to Mikarose and look through their website. Then come back to my blog and leave a comment saying which dress you liked and why. That's it. Easy.

Giveaway ends Tuesday October 6th at midnight (Mountain Time). You can only enter once.

If it were me, either of these options would make me very happy.

Oh, I love the Alexia, very cute!

For me, it's a toss up between the Ariana (very stylish...classy and a bit sassy) and the Cynthia (has a 1950's edge, darling, subtle polka-dots and would look super with red accents-like they have shown). Oh I do hope that I win, but either way I have a great new place to find attractive modest clothing. Thanks for the tip!

Charayne said...

oh, I know you can only enter once, but I was looking for my little girl too....and the Madeline is darling. I'm sure she would love it because it's pink and has flowers....totally girlie...thanks again.

I really liked the Emily - empire waistlines are my favorite!

How fun! And what cute clothes. Not that I will be able to fit into it yet, but I would love the Alexia or the Alice. Both super cute dresses that would look way chic!

I love the Christine dress! I love the Asian vibe to it and the fact that it is empire waist...gotta love that kind of cut! I do hope I win!!

I'M IN LOVE. I want pretty much everything I saw, but I've limited myself to posting three...

1. Alice

2. Ariana

3. Cynthia

Runner up is the Emily (and not just because it's my name and the name of our wedding dress).

I LOVE THIS!

First of all, I like you too :)

Second of all, I'm SO happy you introduced me to this website! I love very almost all of the dresses, but..

Third of all, my favorite is the Isabelle. I bought a dress on Saturday at H&M but it's not quite long enough. I loved it so much I was considering doing the whole leggings-underneath thing. I would love NOT to have to.

Fourth of all, please bless!

The Emily is adorable!

I like the Ariana in deep brown. Shirt dresses generally work for me and I think it would look good year round. And since I'm so tall, the hem length is a plus too!

Becky Knowles said...

Way cute dresses. Granted, I am pining after anything NON-maternity at the moment, but I especially love the Ariana.

Leilani said...

Ooooo, I liked the Lindsey dress and the bow neck top. Very cute. Thank!

I love the Christine. Not sure if I could pull it off, but I am super willing to try.
By the way, thank you so much for not doing the annoying give away thing where it's "for one entry, follow my blog. For another entry, blog about this givaway. For another entry, promise to name your first child after me....etc." That is one of my biggest pet peeves. So, THANK YOU for keeping it simple and about the giveaway.

I'm super torn between Alexia and Eva. I love the Alexia's petal sleeves (I had petal sleeves on my wedding gown and they are my favorite) and the tiered skirt. The Eva is a classic for me. I love the way I look in V-necks and a more pencil-style skirt. I also love that it is easily accessorized.

How random and lucky that I happened to click on this blog today! I found you through Tannie's blog when I was "just browsing" :) and I am thrilled that you are having a giveaway! I am hugely pregnant with baby #2 and would love, love, love a cute and modest dress to wear after this big bump is gone :) I totally like the Cynthia dress! Thanks for telling me about this company-I will be checking them out again :)

I like the Alice or the Emily, or the Cynthia.... they are all very cute.

I'm so glad you've posted about Mikarose again! I loved looking through their dresses last time.

I am in love with the Hollywood in black--I'm always on the lookout for something to augment my performing wardrobe. This gown is stylish and mature (wouldn't look like I just came from the prom) and MODEST! I can't tell you how hard it is to find beautiful modest things to sing in. Love it!!

Kellee said...

I Love the Lindsey! Its dressy enough for the formal dinner I have coming up but casual enough for church AND its flattering!

Heather said...

I love the cowl neck on the Elizabeth. Its really simple but elegant.

Stacie said...

Okay so I like the Lindsey and the Ariana! For some reason I am really into brown right now. And I am so desperate for new clothes that I am not above begging or bribing. Please help a former store owner who has been unable to be fashionable and up to date since closing down! I have purchased one new top in the last 6months. Help me!!! What do you want? Dinner? Cookies?

Okay but seriously Anna, I have sure missed you. We need to get together again soon.

I'm with you on loving the Alice. It's unlike any other dress I have (or could find, super cute and I don't have to worry about whether or not it will "look good on ME"). I love the Eva too b/c everyone needs a little black dress that looks as fabulous as that one does on the model, but I'm a bit hesitant to say it's my favorite b/c I would need to see it on myself first.

Anna said...

Andrea, you are funny. Come back and visit the blog again, I always like getting to know new blogging friends.

As I am also too pregnant for any of these dresses, I actually would love to get the Madeline and the Zoe for my girls. SO cute. If I was back to normal size, though (and I will be someday), I'd like the Elizabeth and the Nicole (both on clearance, but both SO cute). Runner up for me is the Lindsey. What a fun site! Thanks for the opportunity!

This is wonderful! Mikarose is a great company but I had sort of forgot about them. I think the simplicity and contrast of the "Emily" is nice. I like the straight lines. The Lindsey is pretty and seems figure flattering which is a bonus and although it is on clearance I think the Ella is a gem forever.

Jackie said...

I like the simplicity and contrast of "The Emily." I think the "Lindsey" is probably figure flattering (which is nice) and although it is on clearance the "Ella" is pure genius. Mikarose is a styling company.

Sarah Flib said...

I like Eva. Simply beautiful.

Julie said...

The Ariana. I love it, but I would be too chicken to actually buy it.

Shannon R said...

For girls, I love "The Madeline" and for me I love:
1. Alice
2. Allison
3. Cynthia
4. Eva

All different, all great. Thanks for the opportunity. :)

I just love your blog! I'm not sure how I came across it, but it makes me happy! I would have to choose the Nicole in brown. I love brown. The off-centered buttons down the front give it a great line and, let's face it, I look best in round neck tops.

I've never been to their site before, I love it! The Christine Dress is adorable! The Lindsey is cute too -- I'll take one of each :)

I really like the EVA. I think it is so sleek and a good multi-use dress. It can be very dressy, but also good for just a night out on the town!

I've loved the Alice for a long time now! Fingers crossed!

The Cynthia is so cute!

I like Alexia! Who hoo! Mikarose!

I'm torn between Alice and Cynthia (which I think are the ones you like too). They are dang cute and it's hard to find a dang cute and modest dress. I would SO love to win this one!

Amberdawn said...

I'm new to your blog! I like it!

I really like the Allison dress.

Jess said...

I love Alice, Cynthia, and I've always had my eye on Isabelle (but now it's on clearance and not in my size!!) :(

Krystal said...

Ooooo! I love dresses (I have to wear one everyday for work), and I especially love free stuff. I actually already own a Mikarose dress (Eva) and love it, but I have to say for this I choose Alice! Love it! So fresh and fun and cute. Love the buttons!

Ariel said...

Um can I just say Alexia, Ariana, Alice and Cynthia! They all have the perfect Jackie-O qualities of style and sophistication. Fingers Crossed (although I never win anything, so this would be a first). Thanks Anna.

Beazer said...

It's not very easy to look at dresses and think -- hmmm, maybe one of those could look good on me... IN A YEAR! I think Emily is my favorite. Though the one in clearance with the bow was pretty cute too. What fun!

Malinovka said...

I have never heard of this company before and I love the dresses! I think my fav is actually Isabelle-- LOVE pink! But Emily, Cynthia and Christine are sure cute too!!

Dibble's said...

I love the Ariana! It's long and slimming and once this baby comes (any day PLEASE!) I am going to need as many slimming outfits as humanly possible!

Emily said...

I just found your blog. I love that you sew (I do too) but it is wonderful to not have too, especially when the styles are so cute!

I love the Cynthia and Allison dresses. The length on both of them are classic yet they both feel very modern. Thanks for introducing me to this new company!
